A large part of Saksena’s artworks are inspired from her time spent in Italy. A juxtaposition of the past combined with the elegance of the future, set in a backdrop of Italy’s cobbled streets. Italy is highly appreciated for its grand colosseums and churches, but these faint idyllic streets often go unnoticed. Saksena’s inspiration for this piece was to combine Italy’s history with futuristic galaxies.
