The work by Keith Haring Montreux Jazz Festival (1983) is part of a series of manifestoes created in 1983 by the artist Keith Haring for the Montreaux Jazz Festival, one of the most important musical events in Europe which is held every year on the shores of the lake of Geneva in Switzerland since 1967.
Haring is known all over the world for his stylized, simple and colorful figures that make his art immediate and impactful. The work depicts a stylized man creating a spiral that refers to the soft melody of jazz music.
Montreux Jazz Festival is a lithograph on paper in limited edition signed in original. It measures 100x70cm.
