Wadekar takes his iconic palette knife portrait style, and translates it to landscapes for the first time. The use of impasto painting, done without a single stroke of a brush, and purely using a palette knife has become iconic to Wadekar’s style. His imagination of the landscape, with rolling hills and surreal trees, to gardens of bloom and a shining sun, aims to romanticize the world we live in.
