Dali in A Bottle

In creating this piece for the Art in a Bottle series, I captured Salvador Dali's surreal madness, distilling it into pop culture's most iconic containers. Dali's face emerges for me through rows of sculpted bottles Chanel, Coca-Cola, Campbell's, which I see as symbols of taste, brand, and obsession. Each container is a capsule of modern desire, trapping fragments of art history, rebellion, and mass consumerism. To me, Dali's grin breaks through luxury's manufactured calm, suggesting that genius, too, can be packaged and sold. I celebrate the absurd coexistence of creativity and commerce: art spills out like a genie from the very bottle that tries to contain it.
